Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. announced the launch of Vishay BCcomponents 193 PUR-SI Solar, a new series of snap-in power aluminum capacitors, with voltage ratings and category voltages increased to 570 V and 475 V, respectively. Targeted for solar applications, the device features an operating voltage up to 600 V under certain conditions, a long lifetime, and a rated ripple current of 2.46 A at +105 °C and 100 Hz.
