XP Power has introduced the LCW series of stabilized output packaged AC/DC Power supplies, ideal for embedded industrial electronics, technology and devices that require home approval. Nine new series (LCW15, LCW25, LCW35, LCW50, LCW75, LCW100, LCW150, LCW200 and LCW320) offer power levels from 15W to 320W. All models comply with EN 55032 Class B conduction and radiation emission standards, enabling simple and low-cost integration and offering integrated connector covers for improved safety after installation.
The range of input voltages from 85VAC to 305VAC meets global regulatory requirements and is suitable for nominal inputs from 100VAC to 277VAC. There are 150W, 200W and 320W models with active PFC. Applications include auxiliary power supplies, security devices, smart home or office systems, lighting controls, and ticket machines and vending machines.
The series offers nominal output from 3.3V to 48V, depending on the power. For non-standard voltage applications, all models can be adjusted by ±10%, not exceeding the output voltage rating.
With an extensive operating temperature range of -30C to +70C, the series offers full fixed power up to +50C with linear derating up to 60% to +70C. The series is convection-cooled up to 200W with the higher power of the LCW320 series providing an integrated temperature-controlled cooling fan that reduces noise.
The low-key and compact footprint of these units further simplifies integration with the end application. Standard features in the series include low standby power consumption below 0.3W and output short-circuit protection, as well as overcurrent and overvoltage protection. In addition, the LCW320 series also provides power "on" leds. Conformal coating versions are available as an option.
All models are UL/EN 62368-1 certified for safety, lcW35/50/75/100/150 series models are also EN 60335 certified for home automation and applications requiring home or home approval. Input to output isolation is 4,000VAC, input to ground isolation is 2,000VAC, and output to ground isolation is 500VAC. Operating at altitudes up to 5,000m enhances its global use.
