Vishay has launched a new AEC-Q200 qualified iron powder, WPC compatible (Wireless Power Alliance) wireless charging A10 transmitter coil.
IWTX-47R0BE-11 has a durable structure and high permeability shielding, which is 18% smaller than the previous generation solution to save space on the Qi wireless charging board. When paired with Vishay Rx coils and appropriate coils, the efficiency can exceed 80% Qi-compatible Rx and Tx circuits. IWTX-47R0BE-11 is suitable for use in WPC-compatible Tx circuits, which operate at 19V input and are suitable for wireless charging applications up to 10W.
IWTX-47R0BE-11's highly saturated iron powder is designed for use with Vishay's WPC compatible wireless receiver coils and is not affected by permanent positioning magnets. As an alternative to larger ferrite solutions (solutions that saturate under strong magnetic fields), IWTX-47R0BE-11 provides 50% magnetic saturation at 4,000 Gauss. RoHS-compliant devices have an inductance of 24µH at 200kHz, an inductance tolerance of +5% /-10%, a DCR of 71mohm (± 10%) at + 25C, and a Q of 200 at 200kHz. The lead length of the transmitting coil is 40mm, the tinned length is 5mm, and the self-resonant frequency is 7MHz.
