The Telaire T6793 from Amphenol Advanced Sensors is a miniature non-dispersible, gold-plated optical, diffused sampling style, single-channel OEM CO2 sensor module that has the accuracy and reliability of many large sensors on the market while meeting CA Title 24 accuracy standards. Telaire's T6793 has an accuracy rating of ±45ppm plus a 3% reading in the 400ppm to 2000ppm measurement range.
It is ideal for applications where CO 2 levels are required to measure and control indoor air quality or for energy saving applications. Its compact size of 1.18 "x 0.61" x 0.34 "(30 mm x 15.6 mm x 8.6 mm) makes it easy to integrate into product designs. The sampled signal of Telaire's T6793 is updated every 5 seconds to monitor current conditions. It is designed to interact with other microprocessor designs, providing various outputs including I²C or UART; PWM is also available as an optional output.
The T6793 can operate at power supplies between 4.5 VDC and 5.5 VDC, and it is designed for +14°F to +140°F(-10°C to +60°C) and 0% to 95% RH(no condensation) operating conditions. Storage conditions are -22°F to +158°F(-30°C to +70°C). The sensor module is designed for a 6-pin male head with a 0.1 inch (2.54 mm) pitch (head not included).
The T6793 is equipped with Telaire's ABC logic algorithm (self-calibration logic). This onboard logic corrects for drift and/or minor calibration adjustments in the sensor lifetime when using applications where the CO2 concentration drops to external ambient conditions (400ppm) within 7 days. ABC logic is enabled from the plant and works properly after 24 hours of power-on operation.
