Swissbit has launched its next-generation X-60m series mSATA solid-state drive (SSD) product line. They comply with the latest SATA III (6.0 Gb / s) interface specifications and provide leading performance and reliability in the most demanding industrial, networking and communications, and automotive sectors. The X-60m drive is fully compliant with the JEDEC MO-300A standard (50.8 x 29.85 x 3.5mm), making it ideal for embedded applications that require a compact, portable form factor with high-performance, non-volatile SSD storage.
The X-60m series has outstanding performance with continuous read / write speeds up to 525MB / s and 450MB / s, respectively. Industrial applications that require random read and write performance will enjoy an impressive data rate of up to 75,000 IOPS, a transfer size of 4KB, and a queue depth of 32. X
-60m meets the needs of today's industrial, networking and communications and other applications. In terms of operating environment, this places higher demands on embedded storage drives. Swissbit's X-60m SSD is designed and certified to provide reliable operation in commercial (0C to + 70C) and industrial (-40C to + 85C) temperature ranges. X-60m supports a maximum shock / vibration level of 2000G / 20G according to MIL-STD810, and MTBF exceeds 2,000,000 hours.
Swissbit's X-60m SSD products provide a variety of hardware and firmware based features that maximize performance, reliability and durability over the life of the drive. Advanced wear-leveling and bad block management technology ensures a balanced use of flash blocks for extended drive life. Intelligent power failure protection and recovery mechanisms prevent data corruption in the event of an unexpected power loss. Enhanced drive life monitoring capabilities allow users to access detailed drive life statistics and help mitigate potential failures, avoiding unexpected data loss and system downtime. Swissbit's Data Care Management firmware suite includes adaptive read refresh, background media scanning, dynamic bad block remapping, and reduced write magnification.
"The X-60m series solid state drives use the latest generation of SATA controllers and NAND flash technology to provide first-class performance levels. Grady Lambert, Swissbit's embedded storage product line business unit manager, said:" Our expertise enables us to connect Our OEM and ODM customers combine the reliability and confidence that Swissbit expects.
X-60m customer samples with capacities of 30GB, 60GB, 120GB, 240GB and 480GB will be available in July and mass production will begin in August. The company said that it will provide 8GB and 16GB capacities in the second half of the third quarter of 2015.
