Review Display Systems has introduced a range of high performance and small form factor TFT display modules. A range of display data interfaces includes SPI, 8- and 16-bit MCU, 18- and 24-bit RGB. A wide operating temperature range of -30°C to +80°C ensures that the display module works reliably and reliably in extreme temperature environments.
High brightness, white LED backlight, available in brightness specifications from 500cd/m² to 1000cd/m², ensuring display images are readable in high ambient light or outdoor environments. Available in various sizes and resolutions including 1.4" (240 x 240 pixels), 1.77" (128 x 160 pixels), 2.4" QVGA (240 x 320 pixels), 2.8" QVGA (240 x 320 pixels), 3.5" HVGA (320 x 480 pixels), and 4.3" WQVGA (480 x 272 pixels).
The full range of TFT displays offers superior optical performance and IPS technology capabilities, providing highly consistent image reproduction and color saturation from all viewing angles (top/bottom, left/right). Contrast ratios are specified from 500:1 to 800:1. Projected capacitive and resistive touch panel options are supported, allowing for an on-screen gui. The company can also provide user-defined display customizations to meet the display needs of specific applications.
Justin Coleman, Display Business Manager at RDS, said: "The new high-performance, small TFT modules are capable of producing bright, colorful display images and will enable RDS to support a wide variety of portable and static applications, including in-vehicle devices such as driving surveillance cameras, domestic surveillance and Metering equipment, e-mobility systems, etc. In addition, we can provide semi-custom display options to meet user-specific requirements.”
