By combining small size with high performance and energy efficiency,
STLQ020 is suitable for battery-powered consumer products.
The chip can help extend battery life in IoT devices such as smart meters
and wireless sensors, medical devices such as wearable displays, and
industrial applications such as factory automation or sensor networks.
The combination of these attributes is derived from STLQ020's dedicated
low-power design and adaptive bias circuit to ensure fast
response and stable output with high PSRR.
In addition, the voltage drop at the maximum load is 160mV (typical), and the device runs longer as the battery discharges.
Similarly, with its 5nA logic-controlled shutdown mode, the
STLQ020 can extend
the interval between button battery replacements in low duty cycle applications such as remote sensors.
STLQ020 is now in production and is available in 2mm x 2mm DFN6,
0.8mm x 0.8mm flip-chip 4 or 2.1mm x 2.0mm SOT323-5L prices
, starting at $ 0.168 for 1,000 units.
