Diodes has introduced a new line of LDO regulators, adding to its power management portfolio. DIODES AP7387 devices are used in applications such as wireless vacuum cleaners, power tools, smoke detectors, and a variety of other household appliances.
With a static current of only 2 μ A, significantly lower than competing devices, these Ldos provide minimal battery resources. As a result, the running time of the devices they are integrated into can be extended. The input voltage ranges from 5V to 60V, and can be flexibly connected to 5V, 9V, 12V, 24V, 48V guide rails.
Although consuming only 2 μ A current, the series has A high PSRR of 70dB at 1kHz, as well as fast line/load transient response, which helps mitigate sudden changes in input voltage and load current. These two properties make them ideal for noise-sensitive implementations.
The device has a rated output current of 150mA and is available in 3V, 3.3V, 3.6V, and 5V fixed output voltage versions with ±2% output tolerance. Current limiting, short circuit and thermal shutdown protection mechanisms have been included to improve the robustness of the device and system. At the same time, they meet the requirements of 4kV HBM ESD.
