     Renesas RV1S9x6xA optocouplers are designed to keep pace with today's industrial equipment to shrink packaging and save energy, address environmental concerns and save costs. Temperature rises from high-density PCB layouts and noise from high-speed power devices create challenges for system designers. Renesas' RV1S9x6xA optocouplers solve these problems and can withstand harsh operating environments with three key features: low threshold input current (IFHL), high operating temperature, and high noise tolerance to transmit high-speed input signals at the optocoupler protects microcontrollers and other logic circuits from high voltage transients.

     Optocouplers have a wide range of applications in noisy industrial environments, including general power inverters (DC to AC), AC servo motor controls, PLCs, and robotic arm controllers. Other applications include solar and wind input power conditioners, and battery management for energy storage and charging systems. The RV1S9x6xA is the industry's first optocoupler with an IFHL of less than 2 mA/2.2 mA, with extremely fast switching speed (tPHL/LH = 60 ns) and extremely strong noise margin (CMR 50 kV/μs)
