The LM5033 high-voltage PWM controller contains all the functionality needed to implement push-pull, half-bridge, and full-bridge topologies. Applications include closed-loop voltage-mode converters with highly regulated output voltage, or open-loop DC transformers such as intermediate bus converters (IBCs) with efficiencies greater than 95%. Two alternate grid driver outputs with a specified dead time.
The LM5033 includes a starting regulator that operates over a wide input range of 15 V to 100 V. Other features include: precision voltage reference output, current limit detection, remote shutdown, soft start, synchronization capability and hot shutdown. This high speed IC has an oscillator with a total propagation delay of less than 100 ns and 1 mhz capability.
