The TLV230x combines the submicro-power operational amplifier and comparator in a single package to produce excellent micro-power signal conditioning with only 1.4 μA of supply current. This combination provides designers with more board space and reduces the number of parts in systems that require operational amplifiers and comparators.

The low supply current makes it ideal for battery-powered portable applications, where static current is a major concern. Reverse battery protection protects the amplifier from overcurrent conditions due to improper battery installation. In harsh environments, the input terminal can be placed 5v above the positive terminal of the power supply without damaging the device.

                   

The TLV230x's low supply current combined with extremely low input bias current enables them to be used with megohm resistors, making them ideal for portable, long active life applications. At 2.7V, the typical bias voltage is reduced to 390 μV, the CMRR is 90 dB, and the minimum open-loop gain is 130v /mV, ensuring DC accuracy.The maximum recommended supply voltage is up to 16v, and ensure that the operating voltage drops to 2.5V and electrical characteristics are specified as 2.7V, 5V and 15V.The 2.5v operation makes it compatible with lithium-ion battery powered systems and many micro-power microcontrollers, including TI's MSP430.

All devices are available in PDIP and SOIC, with dual (one operational amp and one comparator) in the small MSOP package and quadrupole (two operational amps and two comparators) in the TSSOP package.
