Murata Power Solutions' NMUSB202MC powered dual-port USB data isolator is suitable for industrial and medical applications. This surface-mount module provides dual-port USB data isolation from a single upstream port and full power (500mA) from each downstream port. Isolation effectively disconnects ground loops and is immune to EMI (electromagnetic interference) in harsh environments in industrial and medical applications. NMUSB202MC supports full speed (12Mbps) and low speed (1.5Mbps) through automatic switching. 5V input power is provided by an external adapter or system voltage rail.
