Murata Power Solutions' NMUSB202MC powered dual-port USB data isolator (now available from Mouser Electronics) is a USB 2.0-compatible surface mount module that provides dual-port USB data isolation from a single upstream port, each with a full 500mA downstream Power port. This 5V 1.3A USB data isolator has the function of automatically switching between a low speed of 1.5Mbits per second and a full speed of 12Mbits per second. The NMUSB202MC-powered dual-port USB data isolator features 1-second 3kVAC isolation, downstream short-circuit and overload protection, and power surge notification. It has proven integrity and is well-suited for harsh environments with EMI or electrostatic discharge (ESD) risk .
