The EL5120, EL5220, and EL5420 are low-power, high-voltage, rail-to-rail input/output amplifiers. The EL5120 contains one amplifier, the EL5220 two amplifiers, and the EL5420 four amplifiers. They operate on 5V to 15V power supplies, while each amplifier consumes only 500µA and has a bandwidth of 12MHz (-3dB). They also provide common-mode input capability beyond the powered track, as well as rail-to-rail output capability. This allows these amplifiers to provide maximum dynamic range at any supply voltage.
The EL5120, EL5220, and EL5420 also feature fast turn and stability times, as well as a high output drive capability of 30mA(sink and source). These characteristics make these amplifiers ideal for use as voltage reference buffers in thin film transistor liquid crystal displays (TFT-Lcds). Other applications include battery power, portable devices, and anywhere where low power consumption is important.
The EL5420 is available in a space-saving 14 Ld TSSOP package, industry standard 14 Ld SOIC package, and 16 Ld QFN package. The EL5220 is available in packages 8Ld MSOP and 8Ld DFN. The EL5120 is available in a 5 Ld TSOT package. All feature standard op amp pins. These amplifiers operate in environments and junction temperatures ranging from -40°C to +125°C.
