The PWR13XXC series offers a wide range of low-cost, high-isolated voltage, unregulated, single - and dual-output DC/DC converters in 24-pin dipping packages. Provide low cost to users without sacrificing reliability. The use of surface mounted equipment and manufacturing techniques makes it possible to provide superior performance and low cost. PWR13XXC isolation barriers were tested according to the methods specified in UL544, VDE750, CSA 22.2 and IEC 601-1.
These small converters offer 4000 v isolation ratings in a 1.25 "x 0.8" package area. The dielectric voltage resistance characteristics of each converter are tested in production to ensure barrier integrity. During the development of the PWR13XXC series, extensive testing was conducted to verify that putting the barrier through up to 10 barrier tests would not break the barrier.
PWR13xxc series uses advanced circuit design and packaging technology to achieve superior reliability and performance. 220kHz push-pull oscillator is used to ensure stable input frequency and unsaturated operation. This means that there is no peak voltage or current as in other design topologies, which can reduce unit reliability.
The use of mopower transistors further enhances reliability. These rugged devices allow for higher frequency operation and simpler driving circuits than bipolar power transistors. The reduced number of parts increases the reliability of the pwr13xxc series. The high efficiency of the pwr13xxc series means less internal power consumption. Due to less heat dissipation, the pwr13xxc series can operate over a wider range of ambient temperatures without compromising reliable operation.
