Torex Semiconductor Co., Ltd. has released a multifunctional ultra-small lithium-ion battery charging IC that supports wireless power supply. This series provides ultra-compact charging ICs for Li-ion batteries for wearables, hearables or IoT devices. It has a variety of functions, including charge and discharge control, wireless power supply support, and more. for XC6810 series
The series features a shutdown function that inhibits battery discharge when stored or not in use, and a wake-up function that utilizes external buttons to extend battery and device life. And the charging current is 1mA ~ 25mA, which is suitable for small lithium-ion batteries and can provide a wide range of charging voltage from 3.8V to 4.4V.
This product has a battery voltage monitoring function, which can directly monitor the battery voltage or notify the low battery voltage through the microcontroller. And like traditional LED-driven displays, the CSO terminal displays the charging status, has a type that displays the charging level by frequency, and supports charging monitoring using a microcontroller.
A wide input voltage range of 3.5V to 28V supports wireless power and solar energy collector charging. For contact charging using bases, etc., CSO terminals can be used to modulate the type of power cord, and charging status can be reported via 2-wire communication. Charging status and control can be displayed through the base.
