Kyocera has expanded its product range with two new next-generation LCDs. The innovative TFT LCD can display bright colors clearly even in strong sunlight. The company says this makes it ideal for industrial applications, including medical, aerospace, aquatic, test and measurement, and Industry 4.0 equipment. The new 10.4-inch XGA (TCG104XGLP) and 12.1-inch XGA (TCG121XGLP) TFT LCD modules have a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and the latest high-efficiency, long-life LED backlight with brightness levels of 1300cd / m² (10.4 inches) and 1200 cd / m² (12.1 inches). Kyocera's advanced wide viewing angle (AWV) technology enables viewing angles of 85 degrees in all directions (left, right, top and bottom). The fully integrated LED driver circuit allows backlight operation without additional components. The new TFT LCD uses a standard LVDS interface design, can provide a wide operating temperature range of -30C to 80C, very suitable for outdoor applications.
