   Featuring AEC-Q100 Grade 1 construction, the magnetic position sensor provides long-lasting performance for automotive applications including oil level measurement systems, brake and accelerator pedals, steering angle sensors and non-contact potentiometers. It is an off-the-shelf ams OSRAM AS5172E high-resolution magnetic position sensor from Mouser.

     The sensor provides highly accurate angular position measurements by determining the quadrature components of the magnetic flux density throughout the rotation. Offering a 14-bit sensor array and analog front end, the sensors utilize differential measurements to compensate for external stray magnetic fields, providing accurate results at 90 degrees minimum arc through 12-bit PSI5 outputs (V1.3 and V2.1).

     This highly durable sensor is powered up to 16.5V with 20V overvoltage protection and 18V reverse polarity protection. and supports extended operating temperature range -40°C to 125°C
