Exar - Three-terminal current controllers regulate the current flowing through an LED string (iML868x)

Exar's iML868x three-terminal current controller (TTCC) is designed to regulate the current flowing through the LED string. In application, iML868x is arranged in parallel with LED light string. iML868x can be used as voltage controlled current source, current regulator or cut-off. They are suitable for applications using periodic AC voltage sources. PCB layout is also very flexible and can meet various shape requirements. The company said they are particularly suitable for replacing incandescent bulbs and linear fluorescent lamps.
