The LT5515 is a 1.5GHz to 2.5GHz direct conversion orthogonal demodulator optimized for high linearity receiver applications. It is suitable for communication receivers that convert RF signals directly into I and Q baseband signals with bandwidths up to 260MHz.


Typical application


                            

The LT5515 integrates balanced I and Q mixers, LO buffering amplifiers, and a precision high frequency orthogonal generator. In RF receivers, the LT5515's high linearity provides excellent spurless dynamic range, even with fixed-gain front-end amplification.

This direct conversion receiver can eliminate the processing of intermediate frequency (IF) signal and the corresponding requirements of image filtering and if filtering. Channel filtering can be performed directly at the output of the I and Q channels. These outputs can be connected directly to channel selective filters (lpf) or baseband amplifiers.
