Diodes Inc AL1676 high power factor step-down LED driver is a universal AC input (85-277 VAC) device in a SO-7 package. AL1676 provides accurate constant current and has good line and load regulation capabilities. The device operates in boundary conduction mode to simplify EMI / EMC qualification and testing. The single step-down driver works with single-winding inductors and high-voltage MOSFETs. This reduces external components and therefore bill of materials costs. Rich protection functions enhance system safety and reliability, including under-voltage lockout, LED open / short circuit, over-voltage, over-current, over-heat protection and thermal foldback.
This device is suitable for retrofitting LED lamps, LED tubes, high voltage DC-DC LED drivers and general constant current sources.
