CUI - front-end power supply series expanded to include DC input versions (PSD-1100-12 series)

CUI announced the addition of its 1100W front-end power supply product line to include a DC input version. The PSD-1100-12 series has a compact ultra-thin wire 1U package with a size of only 40mm x 54.5mm x 321.3 mm, which provides high power density and platinum efficiency. Compared to large solutions on the market, the narrow 54mm form factor enables designers to minimize application space. The power output is 12VDC, 5VDcx or 3.3VDC. The PSD-1100-12 is hot-swappable, with a dc input connector on the front and an industry standard output connector on the back with integrated dc power and signal pins. The unit has an input range of 40 to 72VDC and is designed to be compatible with CUI's existing AC input PSA-1100-12, allowing plug-and-play operation between the two versions. This product line is ideal for telecommunications, server and network rack mount applications that require AC input and DC input versions.
