The PIC16F18015/25/44/45 and PIC16F18126/46 families of microcontrollers are from Microchip Technology. These two families of sensors are specifically designed for developers who require 8-bit microcontrollers, offering a variety of feature-rich features to support sensor signal conditioning and real-time control capabilities at an affordable price.

For more cost-sensitive sensor and control applications, the PIC16F18015/25/44/45 microcontrollers offer balanced flash memory (ranging from 7KB to 14KB), robust control and peripheral functions, and speeds up to 32MHz. All devices in this family include up to 256B of EEPROM, a 10-bit ADCC, automated CVD technology for advanced capacitive touch sensing, an 8-bit DAC module, three pwms and two additional capture/compare pwms, and a wg. Also included are four configurable logic cells for further control functions and a healthy set of communication peripherals.

In contrast, the PIC16F18126/46 microcontrollers, while similar to the PIC16F180xx family in memory and operating speed, offer a feature set that is more geared towards high-end sensor applications requiring additional digital capabilities, higher resolution and accurate timing. Features of this family include 28KB of program flash, a 12-bit differential ADCC, two 8-bit DACs, a 16-bit PWM peripheral and a Commonwealth. The family of devices also offers four configurable logic cells for further control functions and various communication peripherals.
