ROLEC has been released for harsh outdoor and indoor industrial applications. Advanced new aluDOOR -- its next generation hinged cover housing，the new enclosure is rugged and can go anywhere with units rated IP 66, IP 67 and - on request - IP 69K. It can be mounted on bulkheads, walls, machines and tables.
Cabinets These Diecast Aluminium housings are effectively 'compact Cabinets' or without a recess for a membrane keypad or product label. The lid opens 100 degrees for easier access. A2 stainless steel lid screws and threaded inserts provide a corrosion-resistant assembly in harsh conditions.
Putting the lid on is quick and easy. It has an integrated hinge pin that is pushed into place and then secured with two tamper-proof Torx T25 (M5) screws. Then close the cap and lock it with two additional T25 screws. Extruded aluminum trim conceals and shields cover screws and mounting screws.
The seal is a new type of foam polyurethane gasket that provides better protection because it is continuous -- no connection can be a weakness. Inside the housing are threaded struts for mounting internal components including PCBS, mounting plates and DIN rails. Separate mounting screw channels mean the housing can be "capped" to protect electronics.
The standard colour is anthracite grey (RAL 7016) with matte silver powder coated cover. Options include special color requirements, anthracite gray (RAL 7016) lid fittings, mounting plates, and EMC gaskets. The housing is available in ten sizes, from 120mm x 90mm x 70mm to 280mm x 170mm x 90mm.
